Representative Gabe Evans helped secure nearly $1.5 million to advance critical transportation and safety improvements in Adams County.
The federal funding will support final design, community engagement and required approvals for the planned interchange at U.S. 85 and 120th Avenue.
This investment will help move one of Adams County's highest-priority transportation projects closer to construction.
The planned interchange will replace the existing railroad crossing with an overpass designed to improve safety and traffic flow.
Once completed, the project will help reduce congestion and travel delays, strengthening regional connectivity and improve access for drivers, pedestrians and cyclists.
Representative Gabe Evans supported Adams County's funding application and helped bring federal resources home for an important local priority.
His efforts are helping lay the groundwork for safer roads, more reliable commutes and stronger economic growth across Adams County.
